Iranian media announced that a massive fire had occurred in one of the emergency gas lines at the Tindkoyan Petrochemical refinery, south of the capital (Tehran).
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the civil defense forces and firefighters began the process of extinguishing the fire, which has not resulted in any casualties so far.
The director of the emergency center in the capital indicated that one of the emergency gas lines caused the fire.
Al-Jazeera correspondent, Noureddin Al-Daghir, said that the emergency department in the Iranian capital (Tehran) reported that a leak in a major oil refinery for gas (south of Tehran) led to a fire in the area, and the formation of a large cloud of smoke in the atmosphere of Tehran.

He stated that the Tehran Emergency Department said it had sent 10 or more fire engines to the fire area; But it did not announce any deaths or injuries as a result of the accident.
And she was quoted as confirming that she had taken all measures to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring areas, and that she had set up a 50-bed hospital in the area as a precaution.
He added that there is information that the fire destroyed 18 stocks of fuel in the refinery; But the information has not been confirmed by an official body yet.
