The Algerian president stressed that the elections on Saturday are an opportunity for young people, intellectuals and the financially vulnerable.
He stressed that the electoral law punishes any violations, especially with regard to the use of corrupt money.
The Algerian News Agency said that the President of the Republic directed the need to “protect the voice of every citizen in order to bypass previous practices that would prejudice the confidence of citizens in their institutions.”

Meanwhile, the head of Algeria’s Independent National Electoral Authority, Mohamed Charfi, said that the percentage of participation in the outside vote has not yet reached.
Sharafi added in a previous interview with Al-Jazeera that the National Elections Authority has developed a program to explain the mechanism of the election process, according to a training program for its cadres deployed at home and abroad in order to facilitate procedures for voters.
