After selling their property and renting out their home, the couple traveled to 30 countries on a world tour that began in 2018 using a cabin car.
The arrival of the Fischer couple in March of last year to Turkey coincided with the outbreak of the Corona pandemic around the world, so they decided to extend their stay in Turkey, which was planned to last only 3 days.

Visit most Turkish cities
The British couple visited almost all Turkish cities, and they were keen to post pictures of their visits through their accounts on social media and share information about those visits with more than 50,000 followers of their accounts.
By sharing 110 videos of them from Turkey, the couple receives comments from all over the world showing how much they like the photos and videos.

Tea is everywhere
The couple was keen to point out that the Turkish people are friendly and hospitable in all the videos they posted on social media, and the hospitality in Turkey, in addition to their keenness to enjoy tasting local dishes everywhere.
Through the recorded clips, the couple invited all their followers to visit Turkey, and said, “If you are looking for a colorful and unique trip, we advise you to come to Turkey, where you will be welcome and attention. The residents here will serve you tea everywhere.”

Turkey is our second home
Chris Fischer, during a visit to Sorgun Beach in the Manavgat district of southern Antalya state as part of his Turkey tour, said that he and his wife are happy to be in Turkey for about a year and a half.
He added to Anadolu Agency that they came to Turkey on a visit that was planned to last for 3 days, but later decided to extend the visit to last about a year and a half, after being impressed by its beauty, the hospitality of its citizens and the safety environment, especially after the outbreak of the Corona pandemic.

Fischer stressed that Turkish citizens were helping them with their shopping needs, even during the peak times of the spread of the Corona virus, and said, “In fact, we felt safe in Turkey. We feel here that we are in our second home.”
He stated that their tour in Turkey began from Istanbul, and then continued their trip to Antalya after a tour in Cappadocia, and continued, “We conducted tours in the coasts of the Black Sea, the Aegean Sea and the entire Central Anatolia. We share our experiences in our trips with our friends and followers of our accounts on social media.”

For her part, Marianne Fisher indicated that she and her husband set out on a world tour, after losing two close friends, based on the idea that “life is worth living despite everything.”
Fischer assured Anadolu Agency that their goal of the trip is to learn about new cultures and taste different local dishes.

“We haven’t seen a single bad incident in Turkey. This country is one of the warmest and kindest countries. The people are very kind, the views are absolutely stunning. Everything was above our expectations,” she said.
“We loved the mountainous province of Rize overlooking the Black Sea (northeast) and the Mediterranean in Antalya. We will leave Turkey with good memories without a doubt,” she added.
