The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, discussed with the Tunisian Prime Minister Hisham Al-Mishishi a number of regional and international issues.
A statement issued by the Qatari Emiri Diwan said today, Monday, that the meeting, which took place during the reception of Sheikh Tamim Al-Mashishi and a Tunisian government delegation visiting Qatar, discussed strengthening relations between the two countries and a number of issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Thani.
In turn, Al-Meshishi received today the Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani at his residence in Doha.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, and developments in Libya.
The two sides affirmed that the two countries aspire to develop cooperation in a way that enhances relations in various fields, especially investment and the economy.
The Tunisian Prime Minister thanked the State of Qatar for its support for the Tunisian people and for providing job opportunities for the Tunisian community. For his part, the Minister of Foreign Affairs renewed the State of Qatar’s full support for the Tunisian people to achieve progress and prosperity.
