Al-Jazeera correspondent in Jerusalem, Sherine Abu Aqleh, said that injuries occurred among Palestinians in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, after the occupation forces suppressed the march inside it.

The Israeli occupation forces intervened to suppress the vigil at Bab al-Amud, and arrested a number of Palestinian youths participating in the vigil, and used sound and sewage bombs to disperse them.
The Israeli provocations raised more tension in Jerusalem, while there were frequent Palestinian calls to mobilize the city and protect Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Simultaneously, the Israeli occupation forces forcibly suppressed a demonstration against settlements in the town of Beita, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, and fired tear gas and sound bombs at the town’s residents, causing some of them to suffocate.

The Palestinian Red Crescent announced that 47 Palestinians were injured during the ongoing confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in Beita.
The Red Crescent also said that its crews dealt in the areas of Beita and Beit Dajan (north), 55 injuries with rubber-coated metal bullets, 286 injuries from suffocation due to inhaling tear gas, from tear gas 38 burns and falls, and 7 injuries canisters.
On Friday morning, the Israeli army closed most of the side streets leading to the town and in the vicinity of Jabal Subaih, with earth mounds.
