Today, Sunday, the Israeli police arrested Jerusalemite activist Mona Al-Kurd from her home in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem.
Eyewitnesses said that the police stormed the house of the Al-Kurd family in Sheikh Jarrah and arrested Mona Al-Kurd, 23, and took her to an unknown destination.
For his part, Nabil Al-Kurd said in an interview with the press that the Israeli police arrested his daughter Mona, and he is currently looking for his son Muhammad, who was arrested last month.
The Israeli police did not comment on the arrest of the Kurds, which emerged through the media recently, and played a major role in publicizing the case of Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
Since last April 13, the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories has erupted, as a result of brutal attacks by the Israeli police and settlers in the occupied city of Jerusalem, especially in Al-Aqsa Mosque and Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, in an attempt to evacuate 12 Palestinian homes and hand them over to settlers.
