The young Bahaa Al-Wahhabi decided to embody the tragedy of the reality that awaits university youth in Jordan in his own way.
In a video clip that spread across the social media platforms, Al-Wahhabi addressed a young man celebrating his graduation from the university as he passed by his stapler, saying, “Six years ago I was like you (like you)… It’s me on the pedestal #Your garden.”
The video clip left a noticeable impact on the activists who expressed their fear of the future that awaits them after graduation, as the pioneers circulated the clip, and attached it with the hashtag “#Your Garden”.
In an exclusive video clip, Al-Wahhabi said that he did not expect the video to spread in this way on social media platforms. He indicated that he filmed the clip last Thursday in Irbid Governorate, Al-Quds Street.
“Unemployment is widespread in Jordan, not only among young people who graduated from universities, but among all groups,” he added.
Al-Wahhabi hoped that the message would be conveyed in the correct manner, “especially since unemployment has become a heavy burden on everyone and especially on the family.”
“A university degree is a weapon,” he concluded, wishing that the situation would “improve” in the country.
