Rahmatullah confirms that the reason for the threats he receives is nothing other than his participation in the protests calling for political and economic reforms and fighting corruption that the country has witnessed during the past two years.

And the last of these pledges was said by Major General Yahya Rasoul, spokesman for the Commander in Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, who said that assassinations are a terrorist act, condemned by all official authorities in the country, noting that the state’s intelligence services are working hard to reach the perpetrators.
With only a few months left until the elections, activists are calling for the government to guarantee its integrity.
About 3,552 candidates are running in the parliamentary elections scheduled for next October, including 982 female candidates.
