“Israel killed, destroyed and assassinated even the dolls of children in Gaza,” this is how the artist Nabil Al-Khatib described the painful reality left by the war on Gaza a few weeks ago, as he and his theater group refuse to surrender to what he described as “the Israeli policy of killing and destruction.”
Al-Khatib lost everything he owned as a result of an air strike that destroyed the headquarters of the “House of Art for Technical and Media Training” and grabbed a doll he pulled out of the rubble, and said sarcastically, “This is the Israeli Bank of Targets.”
