The Moroccan Foreign Ministry said that Rabat took note of the summons of the leader of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, to appear today, Tuesday, before the Spanish National Supreme Court, stressing that it does not constitute the essence of what it described as the serious diplomatic crisis between Rabat and Madrid.
The Moroccan Foreign Ministry added in a statement that the appearance of the Polisario leader who is in Spain for treatment before the judiciary confirms Spain’s responsibility towards itself, given that the victims are Spanish above all.
The ministry described the summons as the beginning of a first recognition of the victims’ rights, and of the criminal and criminal responsibility of those concerned, according to the statement.

For his part, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez described the influx of thousands of migrants into the Spanish city of Ceuta (northern Morocco) about two weeks ago as unacceptable.
The Spanish official expressed his refusal to link the issue of immigration to the file of the Polisario leader, who is receiving treatment in Spain, and Madrid says it has received him for humanitarian reasons.
